The company started life in 1977 as a small hardware and ironmongery shop operating out of Henlow high street and is still run by present MD David Curson and his brother-in-law Paul Sapiano, who is still with the company.
Over the last 10 years David’s two son’s Chris and Paul have also joined the company continuing the family’s traditional value’s of personal service and knowledgeable advice.
After relocating four years ago to Stratton Business Park in Biggleswade Henlow Building Supplies has continued to retain and grow a loyal customer base amongst local builders, trademen and the keen DIY’er.
Services such as timber cutting, brick matching, free delivery, free quotes and all day Saturday opening have all proved very popular amongst customers.
A large range of decorative aggregates, decking, fencing, paving, topsoil and sleepers are kept in stock and to help you make the right choice there are static displays from major landscaping brands Arbordeck, Forest, Marshalls and Stonemarket.
More recently bathroom products have been added to the stock portfolio and Armitage Shanks, Ideal Standard and Devatap bathroom and brassware displays have also been installed in to the existing tile showroom area along with shower enclosures from Coram and showers from Aqualisa.
